MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE 

Local Credit Union is interviewing for a MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE Previous work experience with a credit union or bank is preferred. Seeking a job candidate who is customer focused, detail oriented, good with numbers and works well with fellow team members. Experience working in a fast paced environment, previous experience in cash handling and providing good customer service are required.

Hours: 8:45 – 5:30 Monday – Friday with some Saturdays 8:45 – 12:00 noon. 

Salary: Starting salary is $11.25 – $13.50/hr. range experience, based upon experience. The credit union offers training, advancement opportunities and great benefits.

BASIC  DUTIES:,

  • Represent the credit union in a professional and friendly manner and provide prompt and accurate service.

  • Explain and encourage services that the credit union provides to members.

  • Answer members requests, problems and complaints or direct them to the appropriate person for assistance.

  • Receive cash and checks for deposit to accounts, cash checks and process withdrawals.

  • Open new accounts and maintain existing accounts. Assist customers with their accounts as needed.

  • Balance drawer at beginning and end of shift and report any over/shorts to supervisor and management team.

  • Prepare work and scan and submit checks via virtual deposit.

  • Report problem transactions to a supervisor. Report any computer or printer malfunctions.

  • Inspect night depository receipts and record proper information on the credit unions form with the assistance of another credit union employee.

  • Process member mail transactions correctly and mail receipts, if any, and checks to members.

  • Assist members in balancing their accounts.

  • Assist members with the completion of payroll deduction cards and other credit union forms.

BOOKKEEPER

QuickBooks Bookkeeper
We are looking for a skilled QuickBooks Bookkeeper to maintain financial records, including payroll, inventory records, purchases, sales, receipts and payments. Will be working closely with the business owner in a small office setting to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, and process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices. Our ideal candidate has 3 -5 years of experience in Bookkeeping and is at expert level in using QuickBooks. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process

  • Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct general ledger.

  • Bring the books to the trial balance stage

  • Perform partial checks of the posting process

  • Enter data, maintain records and financial statements

  • Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner

Skills

  • Excellent skills using QuickBooks Software

  • Proven bookkeeping experience

  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles

  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records

  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers

  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets

  • Customer service orientation

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Education in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration

TECHNICIAN TRAINEE

Immediate Opening in the Service department of a Office Equipment Dealer for a Copier Technician.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise with field installed copier and printer equipment.

  • Servicing equipment in customer offices. Considerable driving necessary, unrestricted driver’s license required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience as a Copier Technician or the aptitude to train.

  • Good Mechanical Comprehension

  • Experience with test instruments and hand tools – Working knowledge of computers and basic networking and connectivity

  • Capable of working well under pressure

  • Good organizational skills

  • Positive attitude -Professionalism

  • Clean driving record

  • Education: High School Diploma, Mechanical and/or Electronics training

  • Must be able to pass both a drug and background check

LICENSED INSURANCE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP

Excellent career opportunity working for a local office representing a well-known and reputable full service insurance provider. Previous experience working in the insurance field is needed. A 440 or 220 license is REQUIRED.

Duties:

  • Build personal relationships with customers and anticipating their insurance needs

  • Complete new business processes and on-boarding

  • Help protect customers by offering insurance and financial products that will meet their needs

  • Answers calls from customers and helps solve problems

  • Oversees and manages customer retention programs

  • Takes care of customer requests, policy changes, billing inquiries and payments

  • Help with claim processing and resolution

  • Performing annual customer protection reviews and updating coverage

  • Conducts needs-based customer policy reviews and updates coverage

  • Achieves sales goals by generating leads and referrals to the sales team/ or by closing themselves

  • Being a team player to help grow and retain revenue for the agency

Salary: $13.00 – $18.00 /hour, Depending upon Experience, Plus opportunity to advance
